
The 30th ISIAN will be held in Tokyo, Japan, April 6-9th, 2011 in
conjunction with the 14th International Rhinologic Society(IRS). The
president is Dr. Hiroshi Moriyama (Professor and Chairman.The Jikei
University School of Medicine). Tokyo is an easily accessible city that
is linked by direct flights from major cities all over the world. The
congress venue is located in the center of Tokyo, and the Imperial
Palace and other landmarks are nearby.
The program contents range
from the basic research to clinical studies of such topics as
rhinosinusitis, allergy, immunology, infection, olfaction rhinoplasty,
skull base surgery, tumor and sleep apnea. Oral presentations, plenary
sessions, panel discussions, mini-seminars, instructional courses, and
live endoscopic sinus surgery will be planned.
Eearly spring is
cherry blossom season in Japan, therefore, attendances can see the
cherry trees in bloom all over the city both before and after the
congress.
